Hey, teacher! Glad you’re here!
My name is Bethany Anderson and I’ve been teaching adult English language learners for the past decade plus (and I’ve pretty much loved every minute of it)!
I have an M.A. in TESOL and I’ve taught for nonprofit organizations, businesses, and community college programs. I started Anderson Language Center to provide tools to help Spanish-speaking adult learners use English in their daily lives.
In addition to serving students, I enjoy sharing tools with fellow teachers that will inspire you to be the best version of your teacher self! Below you will find a few resources I have created as well as ones I recommend created by other experienced teachers. I hope you find some of these tools helpful for the students you serve!

Real Life English is a set of 8 lesson plans focused on situations that adults living in the US or other English speaking countries routinely encounter in their daily lives (ordering food at a restaurant, scheduling a doctor’s appointment, finding a book at the library, etc.).
